SMS & Messaging Terms and Conditions

Last updated: June 17, 2026

1. Overview

These SMS & Messaging Terms (“Terms”) govern the text messages and messaging conversations sent by Status Digital, Inc. (“Status,” “we,” “us”) through SMS/MMS and through Apple Messages for Business. By providing your mobile number to Status or starting a messaging conversation with us, you agree to these Terms. They are in addition to our Privacy Policy.

2. The messaging program

When you opt in, Status may send you recurring messages related to your account and the events you engage with, including:

  • Table and guestlist invitations, and invite responses
  • Event updates, reminders, and ticket information
  • Venue and event promotions
  • Account, security, and transactional notifications (e.g. verification and receipts)

3. Consent and opt-in

You consent to receive messages from Status when you provide your mobile number (for example, when you sign up, accept a table invite, or start a conversation with us on Apple Messages for Business). Consent to receive marketing or promotional messages is not a condition of any purchase. Message frequency varies based on your activity.

4. Automated agents

Some replies are handled by an automated agent. When you message us, an automated agent may respond — for example, “This is an automated agent.” You can ask to be connected to a person at any time, and we will route you to a live agent during support hours.

5. How to opt out

You can cancel messages at any time:

  • SMS/MMS: reply STOP to any message.
  • Apple Messages for Business: send unsubscribe or stop at any time.

After you opt out, we will send one confirmation message and then stop sending you messages in that program, except where a message is required to complete a transaction you have requested. To resubscribe, reply START or opt in again in the app.

6. Help

For help, reply HELP to any message, email support@status.inc, or visit our Support page.

7. Message and data rates

Message and data rates may apply. Charges depend on your mobile plan and carrier; contact your carrier for details. Status is not responsible for any charges from your wireless provider.

8. Carriers and delivery

Messages are delivered through our messaging provider, Infobip, and the underlying mobile carriers and Apple Messages for Business. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages, and we cannot guarantee that every message will be delivered.

9. Privacy

We handle the information you share through messaging in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your mobile number, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. Mobile numbers and message content are used only to operate the messaging program described above.

10. Eligibility

You must be the account holder or authorized user of the mobile number you provide, and at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction. Do not provide a number that is not yours.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, by notifying you. Your continued participation in the messaging program after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
